Frequently asked questions
What is the Skin Refining Body Polish?
The Skin Refining Body Polish is an in-shower body-care ritual designed to help lift away dull surface buildup and leave rough-feeling body skin softer, smoother and visibly more polished.
Unlike an ordinary scrub focused only on strong fragrance or aggressive grains, it is positioned as a more refined finishing step for the skin below your neckline.
How is it different from an ordinary body scrub?
Many traditional scrubs fall into one of two extremes: they either feel too weak to make a noticeable difference or so abrasive that the skin feels uncomfortable afterward.
The Skin Refining Body Polish is designed around controlled polishing. The goal is not to scrub harder, but to use gentle circular motions to achieve a softer, smoother-feeling finish.
Will it feel too harsh on my skin?
You should never need to press aggressively or scrub until your skin becomes red.
Apply the polish to damp skin and massage gently using light circular motions. Let the texture of the product do the work. Stop using it if your skin feels irritated or uncomfortable.
Avoid applying it to broken, irritated or sunburned skin.
Can I use it if I have sensitive skin?
Skin sensitivity varies from person to person. Begin with a small patch test and use the polish less frequently until you understand how your skin responds.
Use light pressure and avoid combining it in the same routine with other strong exfoliating products unless the product directions confirm that they can be used together.
The claim “suitable for sensitive skin” should only be used after appropriate product testing.
How often should I use it?
Use the Skin Refining Body Polish approximately one to three times per week, depending on the final product directions and how your skin feels.
More frequent or more aggressive exfoliation does not automatically produce better results. Consistent, controlled use is more important than scrubbing every day.
Where can I use the Body Polish?
It can be used on body areas that feel rough, dull or neglected, including:
- Arms
- Legs
- Elbows
- Knees
- Shoulders
- Other rough-feeling body areas
It is not intended for use on the face or intimate areas. Avoid broken, irritated or freshly sensitized skin.
